Sunset Ridge Trail

Post by hmfigueroa » Sun Jul 27, 2008 12:19 am

Well I got to go out to our repeater site last Sunday. While not a difficult trail, someone did get stuck. As this is not an open public maintained trail it is overgrown. As such, the brush does quite a number on the sides of your vehicle.

Here is a short video on why we were there.

Wow, there are a lot of antenna systems on that tower !!!

Glad I'm not the one climbing up to do the repair work....
(although it might be safer to be up on the tower than to be the guy I the ground, after watching the video !!!)

Sorry we got in a hurry and I left the camera in the back with the gear. And at the end of the day we were too damn tired to do anything but get off the hill and eat.

The photos on the flickr page kind of show most of the trail.

Next time I will make more of a point to shoot the trail.

I really need to make it up to a repeater sometime and check it out. Looks like one hell of an antenna array. :)
