I was already planning on going out somwhere that weekend so the timing works out well. Hopefully, I'll have the propane heater installed in the back of the Pinzgauer by that time so cold won't be a problem.

Hey Dave, are there any changes or updates to times or meeting places? I am going to take some time off work for this trip.

No changes. Once we have all the participants identified, I will send out some information and coordinate the various things for the trip. Our departure time will be Friday morning, early (no later then 5:00AM). For those who may not be able to leave at that time, I will prepare a map of our camping location. If you have Ham radios, this will make things much easier, especially if we are helping people to find the camp. We'll tackle the comms thing in a couple of weeks.

Alright Cool! We are excited, we love the Mojave Desert. I just installed my new radio in the truck so we will have far better range compared to the handheld!

I just returned from a quick scouting trip to the East Mojave. It just reinforced my feeling that the srping time is one of the best times to visit the desert. Apparently they received a lot of rain this year and it showed.
