Camping Trip - Kings Canyon & Sequoia NF - June 11-14, 2015
We will be doing a 4 day camping trip to the Kings Canyon & Sequoia National Forest area on June 11-14, 2015. The campsite is located at about 8.500 feet and the weather should be a refreshing change from the summer heat. The primary focus of the trip will be relaxation with plenty of time at camp to play radio and enjoy some great cuisine (and wine too).
Time permitting, we will do some wheeling and visit the Buck Rock Look out Station, one of the many caverns in the area, and the Sherman Grove (http://www.nps.gov/seki/learn/nature/sherman.htm ). For those who have been with us in the past, you know that there are occasional excellent photo opportunities near the "big" trees!!!
We will limit the group to 6 vehicles with a three vehicle minimum. The trails will require high clearance 4 wheel drive. Camping is dispersed and you will need to bring everything that your campsite requires - there are no facilities of any kind. We will coordinate meals once the group is identified.
Confirmed

2. Bruce "notamog"
3. Larry "cruiserlarry"
4. Phil "Voodoo Blue 57"
5. Tim "taugust"
6.

Dave,
It looks like a fun trip to a place I haven't been to before. Please count me in.
I'm planning on bringing the Pinzgauer. Since I'm already more than half way there compared to you guys I'd like to arrange a place to meet near the first trail head. Otherwise, you'll be spending a lot of time waiting for me to catch up.

Is this a single camp spot, or do we move?
