General Info and Sign-up - 2016 Borrego Fest
Welcome everyone!!! It's time once again to start planning our annual OAUSA Borrego Fest event. This year should be the best. The dates are set for October 7th through October 9 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday.). This is a family event that never fails to impress. We will be holding trail runs, ham radio testing, a potluck dinner, wine and beer tasting and a raffle. Please let us know if you plan on attending. Fees and sign up info below.
Anza Borrego Desert
For those who wish to join us, we will be using the Butterfield Ranch RV Resort again this year. OAUSA depends on the donations from this event, and Summer Fest, to help it stay in operation. Campsite fees, taxes, and website expenses all add up, and OAUSA is comprised of a completely volunteer, unpaid staff. We have done our best to keep the fees reasonable, and ask that all who can, please join us at Butterfield Ranch to help support OAUSA and enjoy the great Anza Borrego Desert.
Borrego Fest, with it’s group camping, helps to promote a feeling of camaraderie among the members, and creates an opportunity for those who many not know each other to share in the event face to face, as well as contribute to the future of Outdoor Adventure USA.
No fee is required if you are only coming out for one day or are making other accommodations outside of the Butterfield Ranch Resort. You are still allowed to participate in the trail run meetings, trail runs, special presentations, potluck, and evening festivities each day.
Fees are the same whether you stay for one night or two in the group site. The best and quickest means to pay for the weekend is through the "Donate" button located at the bottom of each page in the Forums. Please post your interest in attending in the format you see below and your name will be added to the roster. "CONFIRMED" will be entered next to your name in the roster once your donation has been received.

Anita and I will be daytripping this year with the "kids" (two dogs) and won't be camping. However, I made a donation of $60 anyway to help defray costs (just sent it).
We'll be coming up on Saturday and maybe Sunday as well. Anita wants to take her new 2015 Toy Taco out on one of the "baby" trails and I'll be with her in my Ranger.
Looking forward to this year since we've missed the last couple of years.

My 4x4 Ford Ranger is NOT a Jeep and it doesn't pretend to be one....It doesn't need to!
