OAUSA Net – April 05, 2108 – Camp Coffee
Re: OAUSA Net – April 05, 2108 – Camp Coffee
I know that it probably is too late to ask for an early check in, as it is just before net time, but I have been trying to get into this website for the past 4 hours, and all I would get on my screen is that the website was, "under construction," and I do have it bookmarked, so I did get the address right...Oh well, guess that I'll just need to do a voice check in....but as far as coffee goes, it all tastes bitter to me Black, so I always need to, "doctor it up," by putting one of those 1 Ounce Nutra-Sweet packs, and also some milk, cream, or creamer, like French Vanilla creamer, into the coffee, in order to make coffee taste good enough to drink, but I will say that the absolute worst coffee that I have ever tasted was Starbucks, as that tastes awful to me, even with a ton of sugar, or sugar substitute, and a gallon of creamer in it....Can't stand the taste of Starbucks.

The only reason why I started to drink coffee, back in the mid-70's, was that, in the restaurant, coffee was the cheapest drink, only 25 cents, and you received free refills.

One last word on coffee -
I saw Puddles Pity Party at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center (LPAC) on Friday following our coffee net. He did a routine called "Coffee Break" where he sang Nat King Cole's "Magnificent Obsession" to his cup of coffee. You may remember him as the mute clown with the great singing voice from America's Got Talent -
His routine seemed particularly appropriate following the coffee net. You can go here to see the whole thing. Be sure to stick with watching it until he start singing.
