YES, I know it's two weeks out, but I couldn't resist taking a peek at the NWS prediction for the Parashant. I bookmark a NWS click forecast for Twin Point, which showed the following for this Saturday through Wednesday:

Saturday
Sunny, with a high near 71. North wind around 7 mph becoming west northwest in the afternoon.
Saturday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 50.
Sunday
Sunny, with a high near 76.
Sunday Night
Mostly clear, with a low around 53.
Monday
Sunny, with a high near 77.
Monday Night
Mostly clear, with a low around 53.
Tuesday
Mostly sunny, with a high near 77.
Tuesday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 52.
Wednesday
Mostly sunny, with a high near 75.

Gone are the below freezing temps at night and the days appear to be about as perfect as it gets. I'll update as we get closer.

AN INTERESTING TWIST

While the trip weather, based on our departure date, looks good, the possibility of rain just before the trip,(even though slight), raises the specter of the infamous Parashant mud.

Something I will keep investigating.

The NWS prediction.

Tuesday
A slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 60. South southwest wind 11 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Tuesday Night
A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 39.

Wednesday
A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 54.

Wednesday Night
A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 40.

Thursday
Mostly sunny, with a high near 65.

Thursday Night
Mostly clear, with a low around 45.

Friday
Sunny, with a high near 73.

Friday Night
Mostly clear, with a low around 51.

Saturday
Mostly sunny, with a high near 79.

Hee is the 10 day for Parashant Recreational Area

Lets hope the soil has good drainage. Thursday is the first day without rain.
