1. I have used epoxy resins, many times, as a filler, like Bondo, when painting items that have slight imperfections and it is easier to build up the material rather than sanding down a larger surface to get the job done. For example, I was doing a paint job on an old Schwinn frame that had good paint but some chips that would have taken longer to go bear metal than to fill and sand smooth.

Rough old Schwinn that needed a little TLC.

I dislike prep work but it pays off in the end.

2. Shoe Goo is commonly used for ghillie suits where the normal guy/gal isn't going to sew reinforcement material on the "belly" or "drag" side of things. I have also seen Tough as Nails caulking tubes used for this as well.

3. Final, spray adhesives used for "camouflage" with natural surrounding material. A piece of wood or cloth used on a support site sprayed with this glue and sand or other material throw on the item to create a "natural" look using the materials found native to the area.
