Ok I’ll say it. Walmart.
Open 24 hours. Basic, but nice selection of fishing tackle, ammo, camp cots, Coleman stoves, Lodge cast iron, coolers, bedding etc. Super Walmart’s include food. This can be handy when you realize you forgot to pack something or you need to pick up supplies on the road.

I utilized them on the way to Field Day to buy some additional food and meal preps.
Locations are everywhere including small towns.

A shower after a long day is best, but if you can’t find one, baby wipes are fantastic. I found something even better. Assure wipes are 12” x 8”, twice the size of a baby wipes.

Assure wipes can be purchased at Walmart in a large box for under $7.00 which has 3 individual recloseable bags
