Dave,
I am a VE with SANDARC, supporting a couple of testing sessions a month. I've got an Extra class license so I can do any license class. If you need any help with the testing please let me know.

Re: 2019 Field Day/Summer Fest Amateur Radio Testing
New candidates, please take the time to register for you FCC Registration number or FRN so that we can use that to process your license application. If you do not have your FRN we would need to use your Social Security Number. We air certain the both you and use would prefer not to do that.
Here is a helpful video from the FCC on how to apply for your FRN and FCC user account. https://www.fcc.gov/rofrn
Earning your FCC Amateur radio license is easy and very rewarding, we look forward to having you sit with us for your exam.
See you at field Day!

Re: 2019 Field Day/Summer Fest Amateur Radio Testing
Hi Dave,
I’m looking forward to Field day. I’ll be making an attempt at the amateur radio testing. Hopefully, I can get in enough time to cram at the information to pass. Looking forward to next weekend.
Thank,
Karl

Hey Karl
Welcome to Outdoor Adventure USA!!
I think that you and the family wil have a great time at the event. You can even check with Dad to get some tips on what to bring!!!
As far as testing goes, bring your book and do a little studying before the test. I believe that there is cell coverage at the site, and this will enable you to take some practice exams before Sunday. Check with me to see if we can set up a remotely wi fi spot for you if you don’t have coverage. Good luck!!!!!
