This is the Camp Chef oven/stove combo that Dave mentioned above.

Positives- an oven that will handle 2- 9”x13” baking pans(actually a little larger). Burners on top give you the option of baking and frying or sautéing at the same time. Lots of storage for pans, cookie sheets and utensils. Also allows me to keep a kettle of hot water for coffee or clean up.

Negatives- bulky(does not collapse), heavy, poor heat control on low. In fact, hard to get down to setting low enough to warm
Unless you crack open the door, which uses more fuel.
I find myself always wanting on oven but still needing the cooktop. This fills the need. I will still bring my standard Coleman stove along to group events as 2 burners isn’t enough when cooking for a crowd. Works for me anyway.

1/2 size chafing dish type aluminum pans are great when serving a crowd. Jack and I have put coals under them to keep food warm.

Ziplock bags are useful for carrying food and also for leftovers.
Easy to store and recyclable or disposable.

Please check-in

I should have checked out the net topic earlier to provide some input. I've been doing sous vide cooking for the last couple of years for big holiday dinners. I was given a Yeti Rambler 1 gallon insulated jug a couple of years ago for Christmas and always had the idea of turning into a 12v or 24v DC sous vide cooker.

The net postings by Jack and Kevin prompted me to finally order an extra lid and mount of the jug. I previously researched McMaster-Carr for appropriate heating elements, circulating pumps, and thermometers. I'll probably use an Arduino for the controller if I can't find anything else that is pre-made.

I don't expect to have it ready for Borregofest but hopefully I'll have it done for next year's Summerfest.
