Who looks up in a tree anyway!
I had this antenna up for two months before my Neihbor noticed it and only because I was standing in the middle of his yard staring at it. He always got a kick out of it and was sad when the steel pole bent in half in a terrible windstorm.
Copper J-Pole in 35’ tall tree. I don’t have any restrictions so I raised it above the tree. I could have lowered it slightly if needed.

I intend to replace the J-Pole with a ground plane in the near future.

Single family residence. My antenna is attached near the top of my television antenna topping out around 30 feet tall. It has held up for five years so far. Today this Comet model is called the GP-6. Easily gets Keller about 80 miles away on 5 watts.
