Just wanted to post about an interesting (and fairly expensive) folding knife I had never seen before yesterday.
Tungsten carbide blade, which we’d think of as too brittle, but the claim is that it has been processed to eliminate brittleness. The blade is only 0.051” thick with a hardness of 71HRV. It’s not what I would call a “hard use” knife, but it seems like it would keep slicing just about forever before resharpening is needed. $200 puts it well out of my range just to check it out, but it definitely causes an itch.
