- My dual burner stove is quite old as well. I find the low settings on the burners hard to control.

“A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects”.

Camp Oven
This camp oven might be Dave's favorite Coleman product. I know it is mine when he starts baking in it - think Cinnabon's, or hot bean dip.
Bake up rolls, cinnamon rolls, corn bread and other treats at the campsite
Keep your cooking warm until your group gets back
Warms up over Coleman® camp stoves
10 sq. in. (64.52 sq. cm) rack adjusts to three cooking heights
Folds flat for convenient, space-saving storage
Easy-to-read thermometer
Smooth and easy to clean, corrosion-resistant aluminized steel finish also resists scuffs
13.5 in. x 12.9 in. x 3.3 in. (34.3 cm x 32.7 cm x 8.3 cm)
Folds down flat to about 3" in the box.
POST SCRIPT, by Dave
Great catch Tom, thanks!!! I completely overlooked this great Coleman product. Over several years I have used my oven for many things, from breakfast to dinner. I cant list them all, but I will say that the list below covers some of the regular uses:

Check in please - Thanks - Bernie
I used to have a Coleman lantern, like in Post #6, with extra mantels, and I even had a wooden box that looked almost exactly like the one in Post #6, but I don't have it anymore.

KK6CTT for the on-line check-in please, 02/25/21.
As a general review and contribution to the "Coleman Net" I can say that we have gone through several different pieces of Coleman equipment over the years. As noted by others, we have had the following:
Lanterns and Stoves:
o Propane
o Few if any "electrical" Coleman products.
Personal favorites and equipment that the family has settled on has become the Dual Fuel Series but specifically the 414 model stove.
What I really can contribute that has not been mentioned are our several Coleman dome tents over the years. We've had about six tents over the years all of which lasted a good amount of time and several camping trips. We either gave away or nominally sold a few but all were in good working order when we ran across a "good deal" or size up/downgrade as needed.
Here's a link to a hail storm we went through and we would not hesitate to continue tent camping in the future in one of Coleman's dome tents although a trip to Afton Canyon was definitely our most "fun" night of heavy monsoon rain and wind but it kept us warm and dry!

o Propane
- Convenient
- A little more expensive to run compared to fuel consumption (see above)
- Does not have a shelf-life with respect to leaving fuel in the equipment like the white gas and especially unleaded gas
- A little harder feed based on fuel needed but typically they run for a long time and cost/hour become minimized
- Parts are easy to find
- Fuel longevity left in system can be an issue

- NOTE 01: In order to avoid coming back to a ruined tent site, stake all your guy points as suggested by the manufacture. I have even been known to put a few more guys in a tall profile dome to increase the survivability of the tent in inclement weather.
- NOTE 02: We have replaced the elastic shock cord via Amazon "Paracord Planet." As an example: 1/8" x 50 feet
https://www.amazon.com/PARACORD-PLANET- ... r=8-2&th=1
- NOTE 03: If the zip gets hard to use, besides binding because the tent staked too tightly, take a bar of soap and run it along the zipper to lubricate.
