Maybe I've become a bit spoiled by Amazon Prime but I ordered up two of Jeff Cooper's books, $75 total. S&H came up to $26. Yes, it's a big, hardcover book and the second I don't know but still, that seems a bit excessive.
I went ahead with the transaction, happy to put the $ directly into Jeff's pocket, but still...

His pockets likely belong to his estate these days. Cooper passed about 15 years ago. He still is a legend. Cooper's books have been in high demand both before his passing and after. It's encouraging to see that his legacy is being kept alive by his training academy (Gunsite), and (of all places), Amazon, but I wonder how that got past the censors.
Anyway, if these two books pique your interest, check out the Gunsite book store for a lot more.
PS: I thought Amazon did free shipping for orders?????

I guess I wasn't clear. Rather than go to Amazon, I went straight to the Gunsight page to leave a little more $ in Cooper's (family's) pocket. I was spoiled by Amazon-Prime and was taken aback by the S&H charge. And 'Priority Shipping' but eight days on, I'm still waiting.
