Outdoor Photography Critique
Over the years, as I flipped through the pages of magazines such as Arizona Highways (at least the AH prior to about 2005), I realized how effective a good photograph could be. In addition to showcasing a particular location or feature, it also, for me, served to make it a location to place on my "future trips" list. A good camera is an undeniable asset, but knowing how to frame the shot, the best lighting conditions, the best time of day, etc., are all things that go into making a great picture.
As much as I try, I still aspire to photograph at, or close to, the level of the good 'ol days of Arizona Highways. In reading many of the various trip reports of our members, it is clear that there are a lot of good photographers out there. So, we thought it would be a good opportunity to get some professional input on our pics, and that will be the purpose of this net. We need everyone who would appreciate a constructive critique of their photos to submit 10 or more of your best shots. That's all!!!
