logging on

Post by big dave » Mon Sep 08, 2008 8:20 pm

Im still having to log on every single time i visit the forums. I check the auto box when i log in, close the window after im signed in, open a new window and come back, and have to log in again. Its seriously getting old, its driving me nuts. Whats going on, why is this happening to me?

What domain name are you using to access the forums?

OK, that's the problem. Use oausa.net instead of outdooradventureusa.net. The bulletin board only mantains one domain for the cookies that are used to keep the login information. (It should have been programmed to accept whatever domain was used to reach the forum, but that isn't the case.)

By the way, someone has developed a modification to handle this scenario. If you want to continue using outdooradventureusa.net, I can install this modification. Just let me know.

Good, I'm glad it worked. I'll lock this thread so if someone else has a different issue relating to logging in, it will not get lost here.
