OAUSA decal question

Post by FunJunkie » Mon Sep 22, 2008 3:04 am

I got hella help from ollie on my electrical issue today. Thank you brother!! I also got my decals and this may have been discussed before but i'm to tired to read all the posts. My question is, Why is .net not included on the logo? just wondering, cause if i saw a logo on a truck and I saw the name it would interest me but if the .COM .NET .ORG .GOV etc. was on there I think it would stick in my mind more to link up.

I gotta concur. I'd think it would be better if we added .net.

Point well taken!! In our rush to get these decals out, we (well, Ollie really) just put the name together. The web address will appear on the "second generation decals. Good eyes!

Also be sure to thank Ollie for getting these out on very short notice.

I will certainly work on that. I will actually incorporate www.oausa.net into it though. If you go on using www.outdoradventureusa.net the website will not remember you each time you log on. Only www.oausa.net will.

One other awsome thing to note is that we are becoming quite popular. If someone were to see the Outdoor Adventure USA on the back of your rig and did a search on it, we will be their first hit. Try it... :D

I suggest we do not include "www." on the stickers / decals / etc...

most assume it's on the web, and search engines don't even need that anymore...

How about some smaller "OAUSA.NET" stickers for the side windows, to match up with the large "OUTDOOR ADVENTURE USA rear window sticker.

That way, when I'm passing them, they'll see the OAUSA.NET, and before they have time to wonder what that stands for, I'll cut them off to show them the OUTDOORADVENTURE USA banner...Now they'll know just where to complain about me !!!

Seriously, Ollie, if you can make a couple of 2"X6" or 3"X8" ones. i'd love them for BF... ;)

  You must drive like I do.

My mechanic wanted to put a sticker with his shop name on my truck. I said "I'm not sure you want to do that, but go ahead if you want..." :?
