someone needs a home

Post by big dave » Sat Sep 13, 2008 6:14 am

This is Muffin. Shes a 2-3 year old Boxer I rescued from the animal shelter in Downey almost a year ago. She is a very very sweet girl. Muffin is great with kids, never ever thinks about getting angry at them. My kids grab her, hug her, chase her, try to ride her, and she takes it all happily. She loves people you approve, and hates people you dont :) I took her on a couple of short road trips with my friends, and she loved them up the entire time.

Heres my situation. We dont spend time with her like she deserves. We keep her on a large concrete area of our backyard, and see her maybe 20 minutes every 2 days, and when i feed all the dogs every night. Shes so sweet, its not fair to her. Id like to offer her to someone here who will play with her, take her camping, 4wheeling, etc.

Shes housebroken, one of those dogs that alert you when she needs to potty outside. She barks when something is wrong, but its very low. She obeys while off the leash. She does not like other dogs. She has been in some serious fights with my other dog where she got beat up and had to heal for a couple of days. Thats another reason i want a better home for her. She cannot mingle with other animals. Other than that, she will be your sweet girl, ride with you anywhere, watch TV curled up on the couch with you, and go to bed with you. Oh, shes fixed and had all her shots before i picked her up from the shelter.

She is very active, so take this baby out for some fun. Im heartbroken, but im ecstatic with thoughts of her having some fun with a loving owner. My offer is open exclusively to OAUSA members, as i would like to see her every once in a while and see pics of her and hear how shes doing. :D

Now yall dont fight over her now, ya hear?

She is cute. Have you tried to find a local Boxer rescue in your area? I hope she finds a good home. Good luck.

The reason i wont give her to somebody i dont know, is that we will take her back if the new owner has a problem or cannot keep her for any reason. I dont want someone giving her to some random person. Thats why im offering her to a OAUSA member.
