What is the feedback from the show today (Saturday)? I plan to go tomorrow. What's special that is a "don't miss"?

I went yesterday with my friend Nick from 4WD and sport utliity magazine. Got to talk to a lot of cool industry folks. We ended up in the bar where alot of the vendors were hanging out for an after show happy hour. It was my fiend nick, some cool folks from Mastercraft, and the guy who started IH8MUD woody. Dynatrack folks stopped by for a while. Then Jesse from Xtreme 4x4 fame sat down and hung out with us fror a little while. She's realy cool and had some very funny stories to tell. Not to mention she can fab her own 4WD vehicles. Theres nothing sexier than a woman who can weld, IMO.

Good to see you Hector! I looked for Tom and Bruce but did not see them today. I had a good time and spent a while at the various Toyota booths. Drove the Trail Team course and god some fun swag. I found some good deals for a tire repair kit and the Powertank guys gave me a hefty discount on a scale and mounting bracket for my CO2. There were a lot of crazy trucks to see, many of which were just in the parking lot!

It was only a matter of minutes to find them with Ham Radio. . . Mostly took time to figure out what building everyone was in. Study and get your ticket and it will open the door to better communications. :D

Is that Chris Cornette the fire Chief? I spoke with him for a long time. And then he introduced me to Sergio. Really enjoyed taking to them. Nice looking FJ and roof rack.

I spent the Saturday night with Chris from BajaRack at the Icon Vehicle Dynamics "after" party - he's a very nice guy (he is the Fire Chief in Julian), and I plsn on saying hello to him on the way down to BorregoFest...
