Now I'm in Trouble!!!

Post by OLLIE » Thu Oct 09, 2008 8:15 pm

When I got home tonight Ifound out tonight that I'm going to be a daddy again. :D

As I set my brief case down my son (3.5 yrs old) comes running up to me and tells me mommy has a baby in her tummy. I was like yes mommies have babies in their tummies. He says NO DADDY!!! Mommy has a baby in HER tummy. I look at my wife and she just winks at me. God I love my son.

Thought I'd share the good news with my OAUSA breathren. ;)

Congratulations, Ollie, that is awesome news !!!

Right now, I'm sitting in a hotel lobby in Pittsburgh, PA, here to visit my younger son at Carnegie Mellon University in his freshman year. I still remember when my wife and I found out she was pregnant with him - I was still getting used to being a dad, as my older son was just over a year old at the time. And now, almost nineteen years later, I'm just as excited and proud to be his father as the day I got the news.

Parenting is the toughest job you'll ever love, and it's the gift that keeps on giving  So I guess we'll need to reserve an extra space at next year's Borregofest

All right Ollie!!!!

Congratulations man and what a cool way to find out.
Because in the end it has almost nothing to do with the bike and everything to do with setting
out to accomplish something that is intimidating, that is unknown to you, something you know you
have a good chance of failing at but doing it anyways and slowly but surely proving yourself wrong.
