Is anyone going to be able to pick them up? I have work all week but I can come down there one night and then drop them off with someone like Larry on the way North on Friday early.
Also anyone have tips for surviving the 4wheelers and yahoos? I bought some 6' rebar (sp?) to drive into the ground and wrap caution tape around. It looked like this was almost necessary when I went there for a day trip last time. Is there an OAUSA spot to 'circle the wagons' so to speak? Do people drive off and leave their sites up or break them down each day?
I still need to look into the fire rules out there too.
Jesse-
1. Unless you are bringing an EZ up to connect them to, the banners are useless.
2. The best defense is to circle the wagons as you said, then extend the perimeter with re-bar and tape.
3. We leave the campsite up and I keep all my gear in my tent, "out of site out of mind". I am sure you have friends from So Cal Cruiser going up but FYI, I am camping with some friends in the So Cal 80's group from IH8MUD. These are experienced wheelers, good cooks that like to party but are generally in control. Attending from this site should be CruiserLarry, rfjtoy, and myself.
We should be to located to the Northeast of the main headquarters/fire ring for Sn'T. Look for several Toyota 80's, and an EZ up. Let's call it Channel 34 on the CB for now.

This is what the beach can look like at high tide. Be aired down, in 4WH or low if you like and try to avoid this stuff if you see it.

Drive south on the beach till you see this sign:

Make a left (east) at the sign pictured above. Drive through the maze of vehicles and gawk at some of the coolest Toyota's you have ever seen. As you're leaving the tent city and reach a clearing head south a few hundred feet and look for us. Sounds vague but it will work. PM me your cell # and I'll text you GPS coords if you would like.
4. Fire rules: There are none, build a fire then bury it. Our group uses a washing machine tub. The Sn'T "big fire" is on the ground.
