Oh yeah, I read about this when they did a side by side comparison with the Jeep Wrangler JK. I believe they called it the Hummer H3 Alpha. The Jeep did better offroad and the Hummer was faster and more comfortable.

It has a V8 instead of the inline 5 cylinder that the prior H3's have.

The new Hummer H3T Alpha has the V-8 and front and rear electronic locking diffs (Eaton units), along with a 4 to 1 ratio transfer case... too bad it'll cost over 40K...
