Didn't get his name, but I just want to thank him for the magazines! :D
thats a great mag isnt it.......his name is Ben and i'm sure he wont post up any of his pics since its his photos for the magazine. hes the editor in chief and if you look in that magazine he gave us...his articles and pics (and his 80's build-up) is in there.

hes a nice guy. glad we got to meet him and wheel with him.

A few of us went to Coyote Canyon on Sat....saw Gon2surf on Montezuma grade at about 11:30...great day out there, but tons of traffic on the trail.

Did you waive, did I waive? There was nobody out there Friday but as I was leaving Saturday there were lots of rigs including a bunch of 2x2 Bajas and buggies, hikers, mountain bikers. motos and equestrians on the way up. Glad I was leaving, still it must have been a beautiful day.

You were going too fast to wave. I saw you mostly in my rearview mirror as you past....yes Coyote Canyon was very busy.

i'll have more pics posted up tomorrow of this run. i'm too tired tonight.

update on mechanical problems: light racing is going to replace my uca's and the issue may be in faulty bushings. they've redesigned them and i may have been lucky enough to get an older set with an issue. we'll know for sure after they get these back and check them out.

(i know i'm hijacking my own thread with this topic and could have posted it in vehicle "issues" or somewhere like that...but i just didnt feel comfortable calling out a shop/company or particular aftermarket part by starting its own thread....not fair until i know whats going on.........but i did want to keep the folks that were on the run with me that day updated on the issue...everyone was concerned and helpful)

They post up on other forums, so I don't think it is out of the question.

Small world again. I first saw your group when you stopped briefly at Butterfield Ranch. I was out with my son and nephew, introducing the nephew to 4 wheeling. We went down Bow Willow Creek and up Vallecito Creek to Arroyo Seco del Diablo and then to Diablo Dropoff. That's where we met you again. I should have recognized you but didn't. Sorry. I'm glad you got home safely. We went down Arroyo Tapiado to mud caves and back out Vallecito.

Son and I went around and spent the rest of the weekend camped on the bluffs overlooking Truckhaven, with Tierra del Sol. The weather was fantastic and the wheeling and scenery were awesome, as usual.
