Totally Narley

Post by ssc » Sat Dec 06, 2008 8:43 pm

Not doing much wheeling, even though my rental is a jeep. I am working on my tan and photography here on the northshore of Oahu. The waves yesterday were up to 35 feet at the Bonzai Pipeline. I have seen a few minor injuries and broken boards. The pipeline competition starts on the 8th. Off to Pearl Harbor tomarrow for the memorial service. Eric, I am eating all your macadamias.

I love Hawii... I'm more partial to Maui. Those are some great pictures.

Nice! I used to work for a company that took the whole company to Maui for three days as a bonus for the company having a good year. Pardon me if I missed something, but what are you doing in Hawaii? Are you there for work or vacation?

Just taking some time off. I generally come to the northshore this time of the year to shoot the surfing competitions. Just another hobby. Also, since I have been doing this for some time, all my compadres expect their Island girl calander.

Sure don't want to disappoint them. I go to my favorite surf shops to catch up on gossip and buy shirts. Some of the stickers on the FJ come from here.

That's just awesome. Makes me want to take up surfing again. My wife's family used to go every now and then. I've yet to take a trip out there. Thanks for sharing! 8-)

So the Hawaiians were calling it what............ 12-15 ft? :D Nice pics of pipe. I would think the shore-break at Waimea would be a great place to shoot some photos??
