Wow, what a fun day. It was good to see Steve and Ralphie again, and to meet Dana.

Looks like you had a great day. With I had been out there with you rather than working. I haven't seen any of those areas yet. :(

Oh maaaan, wish I could have gone with you guys, but it was my GF's mother's b-day today and we went out to Claim Jumper in Temecula to celebrate. Looks like you guys ran across some way cool stuff out there! Oh well, next time!

Oh, I love that part! Glad to see someone was out enjoying the day. I've been busy taking care of issues with our old place. Great pics. I'm looking forward to getting out again soon.

I had a great time yesterday. It was nice to do a little wheeling with Eric and Ralphie again. It was also nice to meet Dana and hope to see him on the trail. The little side trips we took we quite challenging. As mentioned, some spots were quite narrow and off-camber enough to be a little unnerving. Not for the faint-hearted, for sure.
The only problem on the trail was a banjo bolt that came loose on one of my front calipers. After spewing brake fluid all over and losing my brakes, the problem was quickly resolved.

Which way did you go? There are two ways down there, they form a loop. We went down from the south side and came back up the north. The south is much more narrow and tippy than the north. Is that where you and Steve went a couple month ago?

There was one spot on the south side where you have to drive up the side to go around a boulder. You are leaning about 30 degrees and barely clear the boulder by an inch or so.

On the north side there is a spot where a boulder blocks half the road. You have to come dangerously close to the edge to get around it.

Those two sections gave me more pucker than I have had in a while. Wish we took some pics.

Yep, that's the same trail Steve (Thatsalexus?) and I did. His stock 4runner was having a heck of time on those narrow, tippy spots. Are you gonna be able to make it out with Ollie on the 20th? If you think that trail gave you some pucker, there's a really gnarley one up on a hill just at the mouth of Fish Creek. I'm just glad my Jeep is narrower that an FJ, otherwise I'm not sure I'd try it. :D
