12-7-08 Valley of the Moon Ride

Didn't have the opportunity to join the folks on Saturday, so Chuck and I headed out today for the Valley of the Moon. Not too difficult to find, nice ride. Found some climbers out there enjoying the rocks. We tried to go to Table Mountain but hit the wrong trail, a dead end. Then went farther east and found another interesting trail.

Finally found the trail for Table, but the sign said no vehicles. Maybe we had the wrong place. All in all it was a nice day, even with the overcast.

That sounds good, I must have missed the right trail to get there. I was close, oh well.

Hey Denis, too bad you couldn't join us. We had a bunch of fun.

There is a sign saying no vehicles going up to the top of the mountain, but the road we were on started on the east side and then cut across the north side by the radio tower, then headed due west.
