Hello Everyone!

Post by quietman » Tue Dec 09, 2008 11:52 pm

Hi! I just learned about this site, and after poking around a bit I
joined. I grew up in Orange County, getting out to the desert
as often as possible since 1975.

I get out still as much as I can, and especially love Baja as well as
the Southwest. I also love the Mountains and my home state of
Michigan.

Here is a short video from my last weekend adventure:

my home page is:

http://www.roenation.com

I use a 2m radio a lot with my friends when out exploring, and
am always wanting to learn more, and meet new friends.

Thanks.

john

Welcome aboard, quietman !!!

There are a lot of great folks on this forum - all types of rigs, and all types of trail runs, and all types of fun... :D

And we have a terrific 2m ham net on Thursdays @ 7:30pm on the Keller Peak repeater...

Post up your license so we can add it to the roster...

Check out the Mojave Trail run being organized right now for January, '09, and post up about your rig and your adventures for the rest of us to see...

See you on the trail soon... :)

Thanks Larry.

I found out about this site because of the MojaveTrail Run being posted to the "Ford Truck Enthusiasts" site.

I may be out there hunting that weekend, and if I can I will try and meet up with the group.

My call sign is N7626.

I have a collection of adventures :D at my home page and on youtube, I put a link up.

Hope to see ya'all!

Hey John, that was me who posted about this run on FTE. I know lots of the guys have bigger trucks, and i knew they would find this run interesting since weve discussed it on FTE in the past. Glad to have you here!!!

Big Dave-

Thanks!

I have a Pathfinder myself, and used to have another one, love
those things...

I also used to have an early Bronco. Went e.v.e.r.y.w.h.e.r.e.

really.

Now I have a big family (5 kids) and the Excursion is the ticket.

...and will go suprising places if you don't sweat dings and dents.
