The weather in Mexicali is terrible today. We were expecting it to hit yesterday so I drove the FJ across. Never again... I will only drive a company rental from here on out. I did get quite a few looky-lews though... :) My friend is driving a Honda Civic across from El Centro to Mexicali every day and he said the water is so deep he thinks he iss going to have to break out the ores... The drainage is terrible.

Weather aside, the run for this weekend is still on. Forecasts actually show the weather for the weekend to be in the 60's for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with it being mostly sunny. Should actually make for a pleasant desert run. If anything, we might skip Oriflame/Rodriguez if it is wet up there. It will just give us more time down in the desert area. :D

One of my first 4wd runs was going up Rodriguez in the rain/mud. It was a blast. There may even be some snow in Chariot Canyon. Should be fun.

I enjoy Mexicali--except for the smell. Have fun. In regards to smuggling, it's not a job-- it's an adventure :D
