2009-01-08: So Cal 4WD Destinations

Our net this week took a slightly different turn than we had planned. Due to scheduling conflicts we altered our topic to popular 4WD So Cal destinations. Winter is one of the best times to enjoy many of the out door 4WD locations that would be way too hot during the traditional summer months. These areas include Death Valley, Anza Borrego and the Mojave Desert.

With help from sdnative (K6EPS), TomS (KI6FHA), Craig (N6CJW), and traveltoad, (KI6BCA), we covered these desert areas well. More to come. Thanks to all who participated. The net lasted about an hour and a half and we had 38 check-ins.

The only unexpected part of the net was the little earthquake that kept our audience alive and excited. Thanks all!
