Here's a breakdown of where it sits today:
1994 FZJ-80
Factory locked (though someone had removed the front locker wiring harness so I had to buy another)
Temperature Gauge Modified to be more sensitive (since I dont have OBD-II, this is helpful)
Replaced the rear heater hose with a silicone constant tension hose (commonly referred to as the Pesky Heather Hose "PHH")
Modified the stock fan clutch to hold 8,000cst oil and open at a slightly cooler temperature of 105*
Installed FIAMM dual tone horn (to replace the extremely robust stock horn)
Installed 100-series brake pads on the front brakes to increase stopping power and wear
Extended front and rear differential breather hoses to terminate in the engine bay firewall
Removed factory radio and installed a Pioneer DEH-P3900MP headunit
Removed factory speakers and installed Pioneer speakers (TS-G1641R;front) and (TS-G1041R; rear) (they dont fit 100% in the front, FYI)
Installed a Yaesu 7800R ham radio (installed in rear PS compartment and wired up the the dash) (using SBB1 Comet antenna)
Changed the tires to BFG A/T 285's from the very respectable Bridgestone Dueller Revo's (31")
Installed OME 850/863 lift
Installed LandTank caster plates to correct caster with lift
Removed running boards but kept (altered) the front fender caps
In addition, I've done LOADS of maintenance. This is something that might turn people off of buying this truck. If you don't wrench you're going to have a 6 month learning curve, or make pals with the local mechanic. The truck never died on me, never left me stranded, never failed in any way. All the maintenance falls in that funny gray area called "preventative maintenance". Unless you're the first owner and know the complete history of maintenance, I figure you've got a lot of boxes to check in order to get a handle on the current state of operation. Once this is done though, the truck is practically maintenance free. I havent touched the truck since August except to grease the driveshafts and u-joints after last weekends water crossing.
I'm pretty happy with it right now, but eventually I'll probably get sliders, some skid plates, rear bumper to get the spare out from underneath, rooftop tent, front bumper and co2 tank. Lots more accessories as well including good recovery equipment, hot water source for the occasional shower in the field, Engel 'fridge, drawer system, etc
Ok, enough rambling, here's some random pictures. I'll upload some more later when I get to my other computer
New to me After the lift and tires Added the Yaesu First wheeling trip before the BFG's and Lift were on...ouch 1am after finishing the front end "birf job" I'll add some more pics later on
