Problem was, Pucker hill just kept getting worse and worse
I called a friend today and he said the transition getting down was the main reason it was closed. seems it was eating more and more away with the trail you were on that went around.
Last time I tried it was a few years back, and even then it was enough for me to decide it was not worth it. What I did not like was that the bottom was only 20 feet accross, one mistake and you wwent down another 150 or more feet, and that would more than likely be rolling.
I guess I just figured why bother. And Ollie, I was not on that run with you but I remember you discribing it one day and you admitted it was not a safe thing.
Funniest time I ever watched guys on that hill was a time in the rain and we watched vehicle after vehicle get 1/2 way up and have to back down, What was so funny was after backing down they decided not to try again as backing down was so scary. But yet the next one would try.

That is a fact... I did say just that. Everyone else in that run took the by-pass because of what they saw when I went down it. :?

Sorry BW, didn't bring my camera and (like Jim mentioned to me) he's got so many pix of Cleghorn, he didn't bother to bring his either.
