Well, my new laptop is on its way...

In the meantime, I have upgraded my Panasonic Toughbook CF-29 Mil-Spec laptop with additional features, and the new owner gets an even better deal...

Timing is everything, they say...

I "ran into" a ridiculous deal on a new, loaded CF-30 MkII - an agency returned a group of leased units, and it included a couple that were never opened - still sealed in original box. I had been talking to the guy who refurbs/liquidates Toughbooks about my other issue, so he called me about the CF-30 when it showed up. (Even has 3 year 24 hr turn-around factory warranty). The agency was unloading them all for the same price to his company, so I snatched the new one before they put it in inventory - it was a no-brainer deal, so I'm passing my luck forward to the person who takes my CF-29...
