base antena price good or bad

Hey guys I might be able to buy a base antena from a friend of mines brother. The arms crank up and out and then the tower cranks up as well. I believe he is selling it for $300.00 . What I would like to know is that a good price or not , Thanks in advance for any input..... Thomas

You need to provide more info to have an accurate answer.

What brand is the antenna ? What is the model ? Is the tower separate from the antenna ?
If so, what height / how many sections / what brand and model ?

Maybe your friend can get a picture to you and you could post it up so that we might be able to help identify it and check the deal...
