Anyone going? I got the go ahead from the wife since she and the kids will be in Japan at the time so I was hoping to roll up with someone to keep the road communication interesting.

I did the con a week after the Rubithon last year and it scared the #@$%! out of me and my crew, I got in way over my head attempting the CON but i did it and will never do it agin with the FJ. I got home and bought an 1981 hilux truck and started bulding it with the CON in mind. YES that trail is that awsome but it will eat the FJC alive!. damage report for my rig one front kunckel, two tires, rear shock, cracked r&P and the steering rack.It was crazy! bro . So be prepared and have fun! dont't get mad because the trail will not stop and when you think it is going to lighten up it gets worse, but I am glad I can say I did it!! have fun bro :D

Wish I could try it but it is not in the cards for a few years. Going the Rubithon route is the best idea. You'll have a lot of seasoned drivers for points and proper spotting. ;)
