How I spent my tax refund...

Post by BlueFJ » Sat Apr 18, 2009 6:37 pm

Last Thursday I drove over to Vista and visited the guys at Baja Rack. Oh, and I took home a rack, ladder, and Hi-Lift mounts. Spent Friday afternoon with my buddy, John getting everything installed.
This morning, I drove down to HRO and picked up a lip-mount, dual band antenna, and cabling and spent the afternoon messing around getting that installed.
Here are some pix, forgive the quality...

Very nice additions, Craig -

Craig:

Great looking stuff and from all reports, very stout. Now all you need is a long trip to break it in!

This is the kind of "stimulus" that the economy needs. Nice job.

Very nice Craig. Not a bad way to spend a tax return. :D

Thanks guys! It's good to finally have a place to mount the Hi-Lift after having it for years, not to mention spare gas. I forgot to mention I also bought an MFJ external speaker for my Yaesu 8800R (which I got a great deal on from Ollie... thanks Ollie!)
