Keller Peak Repeater is grrrrreat!

Post by sdnative » Sat Aug 22, 2009 3:10 pm

I am so impressed with this repeater. It has fantastic coverage of a good portion of Southern California.

On the net last Thursday night, I was able to hit the repeater from my location in San Diego using L3 power lever on my HT (that's 2.5W !) I had very good signal according to the report.

Can someone create a elevation and obstruction profile from my location to the repeater? I am very curious to know the distance and what is in the way.

The Keller Repeater is one of the very best around. It's coverage is one of the many reasons why it so popular and why it is used by many SAR teams and emergency organizations. Think about becoming a member.

That never occurred to me. I think that is a great idea, and I will very seriously consider it.

So you created this in TOPO? I have that program, and will try this myself. Good to know.

Thanks!
