I got my call sign! I will post it in the roster thread too.

Last weekend in preparation I got my radio's:

Kenwood TM-D710A - When I get some pics I will post my install.
Yaesu VX-6R

Congrats. I hope that means they will issue mine soon too...

I got my radio last week too, been sitting here listening to it, waiting for a callsign. :lol:

Did you get an RC-710 or a TM-D710? I thought the RC-710 was European?

Doh! You are right. I got a TM-D710A. Fixed my post.
That's excellent. Depending on which GPS you are running you are all set up to run APRS too. :D

I'm not ready for APRS, need to figure out how to program frequencies first. :D

OK using these radios beyond listening to a channel is pretty confusing if all you are used to is a CB. I need to hit some people up for help this weekend, I am bringing my radios, manuals and bribes! :D
