I got my call sign! I will post it in the roster thread too.
Last weekend in preparation I got my radio's:
Kenwood TM-D710A - When I get some pics I will post my install.
Yaesu VX-6R

Congrats. I hope that means they will issue mine soon too...
I got my radio last week too, been sitting here listening to it, waiting for a callsign.

Did you get an RC-710 or a TM-D710? I thought the RC-710 was European?

Did you get an RC-710 or a TM-D710? I thought the RC-710 was European?
Doh! You are right. I got a TM-D710A. Fixed my post.

Doh! You are right. I got a TM-D710A. Fixed my post.
That's excellent. Depending on which GPS you are running you are all set up to run APRS too.

I'm not ready for APRS, need to figure out how to program frequencies first.

OK using these radios beyond listening to a channel is pretty confusing if all you are used to is a CB. I need to hit some people up for help this weekend, I am bringing my radios, manuals and bribes!
