04/23-25/2010 - Cerro Gordo, Saline & Way More!

Post by DennisDawg » Mon Apr 26, 2010 6:52 pm

Last weekend we hit Fossil Falls, Keeler, Cerro Gordo, Lee Flat, Hunter Mountain, Hidden Valley, The Racetrack Playa, Lippincott, Saline Valley, Steele Pass and Dedeckera Canyon, and North Pass! Perfect weather, a lot to see, a few hikes and just fun! We got very lucky to be in Cerro Gordo at the right time. Our radios came in handy as we saved love for a couple while making new friends! Good times!

Now is the time to go before it gets too hot out there!

Great report! I haven't had a chance yet to explore the Panamint Mountains or Death Valley. I'm hoping to do so this fall or next spring.

The whole are is some of my favorite land to play in. It is so pretty and the folks one can meet out there, wonderful and diverse. But, you can also go places and never see anyone at all! In that, it is a great place to go and clear one’s head. I cannot recommend going enough! You will not be disappointed.
