New rack

Post by Willie H » Sat Jun 05, 2010 10:09 am

A couple of weeks ago I scored a Wild Boar rack system for my JK. Install was a breeze, and form and function are great. The Wild Boar has a tilting basket supported by gas struts to ease lifting, and allow to remove the soft top. You can also disconnect the struts to allow the rack to pivot 180 degrees and convert to an awning for those hot sunny days in Borrego. So far I am very pleased with the Wild Boar, my first choice was the Gobi, but for what I payed this can't be beat.

The tilt-back awning feature is great, except if you want to carry anything on the rack... :o

Serious headaches can result.
