It snowed for over 5 hours straight, and then on and off through the night. Everything, from houses, cars, and the mountains that surround us, is covered in snow.

Temps weren't super low - yesterday around 37 degrees, this morning about 39 degrees - so this morning it was starting to melt
We had kids sledding down the streets, folks building snowmen, and numerous snowball fights throughout my area - people were in a state of shock, really...last time is snowed was when I moved in in 1992, but it didn't last long - nothing like this. Restaurants and hotels here were packed, too, 'cause they closed the 5 freeway at Castaic Lake, leaving lots of folks stranded.
I'm sure I won't see this happen again for a long time, but it sure was fun being here while it was going on
