April 21 Weather Spotting and Safety

Post by taugust » Tue Apr 26, 2011 6:59 pm

Weather impacts virtually all of our outdoor activities in one way or another. In the event of severe weather, safety is the utmost concern and the purpose of the National Weather Service is to protect life and property with timely forecasts and warnings.

This week's net was on weather spotting and weather safety with guest Miguel Miller, a forcaster from the National Weather Service. The net originated at the Weather Service Office in San Diego. We had 43 check-ins.
