It is really pretty over there, a lot of different formations and such, but very close to town. You could eat in town and camp, or stay in town.

We looked it over pretty well and found a lot of interesting things. To make a full weekend of it, you’d need to get out and walk a bit to look at every nook and cranny, or if you only want to sit in the seat, you might need to couple it with something else like fishing up north of there are heading up into the Sierras.

Next up . . Butte Valley in less than two weeks after a ‘haul stuff up’ trip to Big Bear! Weeeeee.
