These trail runs through the Padres National Forest. Two maps of value are the Los Padres Forest and Hungry Valley SVRA CTUC 3rd Edition map and the Mount Pinos Ranger district Motor Vehicle Opportunity Guide.
LOGISTICS:
We will meet at camp grounds at 9:00 Saturday morning. Each vehicle needs a vehicle inspection and all drivers and passengers must complete a waiver of liability. Plan to have the inspections done before 9am. Have sufficient gas for the trip and bring a lunch.
The plan is drive up to the peak of Frazier Mountain on the West Frazier Mine Road (listed as a Green trail) and the West Frazier Tie road (rated as “a light blue” trail).
This will be a half day run if all goes well. We cannot be late for wine tasting! Stock and long wheel base vehicles will be ok on this trail.
Once on top we can check out the view and see if we can spot the ham radio antenna.

We have you covered. BTW it doesn't need to be a Hi-lift. A bottle jack qualifies.
See you on the Trail!
