
Coming down off of pancake rock, we had a tire come off the bead. As I was heading down and all flexed out, I heard a series of two short "ssssss" coming from the front driver's tire (the one that was stuffed). I guess I was lucky because the bead held.
Steve wasn't so lucky. His ended up letting go. Luckily we were able to backup and go a different line and change directions. Once on flat ground, we changed to the spare.
On the way home we stopped at discount tire and they quickly reset the bead and filled the tire, all without having to remove it from the rear carrier. Love those guys.

He's got a lot more guts than me to take a brand new $40k full size truck on that trail. From what I understand, none of them have been on that trail before.
