Sheepskin Seatcovers FYI

Post by BoBoNel » Sun Aug 24, 2008 4:20 pm

i've been shopping for seatcovers (sheepskin) and they are difficult to find (for seats that have side impact airbags such as the FJ) or expensive.
today we were at Costco (poway) and i found some side-less sheepskin seatcovers for $39.00 each!!!!!!!!! designed especially for side impact airbags and they are universal fit. once i get them on i'll post up some pics but i'm a happy camper! they are fairly thick and nice quality....not top quality.....but they will work and will save my seats! they had them in grey and ivory. just thought i'd send a shout out in case anyone is interested.

(since i missed summerfest i had to go out and buy something to make myself feel better) :)

Hmmmm...did you buy the matching sheepskin steering wheel cover? Just teasing, I"m sure they'll be nice and cozy come wintertime.

Check to make sure the skins are lined on the back - otherwise, the dyes they use to color the skins bleed into the seats, and make quite a mess that usually will not clean out...

i'll post up pics when i get them on. :) they are still in the back of the truck. they are lined....and lined rather nicely actually.....and with a non-sliding surface so they hug fairly tight to the seats.
i cant wait to get them on. i dont like many of the seat covers available on the market for side airbags........and i'm trashing my seats (the kid, the dogs, the husband, etc)......
pictures to follow. :) oh......i forgot......i cant take pictures anymore. HUBBY TOOK MY CAMERA FISHING AND BROKE IT. i think i'm shopping for a digital camera this weekend. :) so WHEN i get a camera....i'll post up pics.
