Wow - what a rig !!!

Of course, you'll need to buy a trailer, an something to pull that behemoth around, 'cause its not likely street legal, and probably can't go more than 50-60 mph max. Not to mention the fuel bill to feed that monster on diesel ...

But, I still want it !!!

Its a standard military issue "multifuel" 6 cylinder turbo diesel made to mil spec by several companies like White, Hercules, Continental, etc. It'll run on motor oil, veg oil, kerosene, gasoline, diesel, even ATF! I think it is called LDT-465

When you need fuel you could just go door to door in your neighborhood or have the local Chinese takeout save the old cooking oil.

Sort of.

My son (with my assistance), built up a bio-diesel converted 8.2l Detroit diesel school bus. All vegetable oils aren't usable; and those that are must be filtered and pre-heated. But, when all is done, you have basically free fuel, and an engine that runs cleaner and smoother than with traditional fossil fuels....

I love that thing... If only I had a place to keep one.
