We were trying to use 146.385 + PL 146.2 on Keller Peak and told us this freq was being used with permission from the repeater operators. No biggie we just used simplex instead. This was our comm plans but both option 1 & 2 was being used and restricted us, and option 3 repeater did not respond for ...

I would prefer to stay away from motorized mounts, I have seen several that with a turn of a knob they fold down.

They told us they had exclusive rights to the repeater for some event.
The person was a female who kept saying she was Bear Command, I think she said she was with some sort of search and rescue group.

Suggestion on Lip Mount Dual Band Antenna
I currently have a Diamond mag mount on the rig but it's getting to be a pain to unscrew it all the time to get in my garage.
Anyone have any suggestions on a good lip mounted Diamond or Comet PL antenna that folds down easy?

We tried to use the repeated for our Big Bear Toyota120 run last weekend but we were told the repeater was being used for some kind of event.
