I might be interested in this class if the place and time are right.

yep - I know it is always better to put a stake in the ground with a date and place for people to respond too. Right now I do not have any free weekends for several months and I assume most everyone needs it to be on a Saturday (or Sunday). As far as places, I have access to a conference room at Gorman and one in Compton. So it will be one of those locations unless someone has another suggestion. Worst case, I have a class scheduled for Jan 03, 2009. But we should be able to do something sooner.

Why not Ricky & Ronnie's in the clubhouse??? ;) I could be persuaded to bring a projector, computer, and sound system if needed. :D

I think it would be a huge tease to hold a class in Gorman and not have time to go 4wheeling. It would suck to have to drive all the way home after 2 hours driving up and 8 hours sitting in the classroom. I vote for Compton, or R&R's. If my father had his old office in downtown Long Beach on the 20th floor of the World Trade Center, i would borrow his conference room on a weekend. 40 leather seats surrounding a super long marble and glass table, overlooking the port of LA/LB and the Queen Mary. Man, wish i had access to that again...

Ricky & Ronnies would work. I will need to talk to them about an 8 hour block on a weekend. If we go to Gorman, you could camp over and do Miller, etc on Sunday.

Yes... That is certainly a compelling option. Haven't done Miller's yet. Quite a haul from here but probably doable.

Sounds like one heck of a weekend in the planning. Class on a Saturday, and a celebratory run on Sunday :)

Tom - We'd be interested if you're still looking to get to the magic number. The idea of making a weekend of it in Gorman sounds like fun, but a day at R&R's would be fine also.
