Did you hike out the same was as in? Looks like you may have taken a different route from the pics.

I'd love to be in shape enough to do that hike one day!

I've done the trip both ways and enjoyed it more East to West. More than 5 trucks and you are supposed to have a permit. Last time I checked, a permit was $50 and allowed up to 15 trucks in a caravan. They didn't care how many people were in the trucks, only the number of trucks. I've run the road ...

Congrats! As a father of a 12 year old girl (going on 19), I can only tell you to enjoy them while they are young! They are sweet and innocent until about 10. Then they can't figure out if they want to cuddle with you, or rip your eyes out, or just ignore you. I wouldn't trade it for anything though ...

Beautiful run even with the mud (one spot) and the flop (one truck - not a hard roll). I'll download my pics and post them up soon.

First time out with you guys and I have to say Grace (my 5 year old) and I had a great time!! Love that trail (too bad it doesn't "go through" to somewhere) and look forward to checking it out each trip. I'll be watching this thread for pictures!! I didn't take too many - but I'll download them and ...
